    Well done Pete,
    What a stoke of luck to come across such info, certainly takes the guesswork out of bolting things together if you are not of the engineering/techie persuasion. This should help the unsure.

      As an engineering apprentice this was second nature.
      Back then, mates were rebuilding motorbikes using Stainless Steel for the exposed ones, for the bling factor, against my advice. Quite a few fixings failed even though they were only 10% or so weaker. You can not necessarily torque them up to the same extent, and threads start stripping internally where you cannot see them.
