Yes Ford dealer says gasket no longer available but Burton power have them so should be here by Monday along with a clutch cable.
I thought about a plunger but no issues with the old one as far as I can see.

All jobs now done, no leaks fan works well, car back together, just running oil through the clutch cable then it's time to test on the road .
RAD FAN BLOWING ,,,,LOOKING GOOD .
