Re: 4 bar link rear end !!!
I think one or two have been converted but never seen one in the flesh.
Shouldn't be too difficult though, e.g. using existing spring mounts for the lower bar and an unequal length upper with a bracket welded to the chassis rail.
Diamond axle brackets are widely available for Escorts and could be adapted.
You'd probably want to turret the coil-overs and add a Panhard or Watts linkage for lateral support.
Where there's a welder there's a way..!
Or maybe go for something like the Hoyle setup for the MGB - a complete subframe that bolts in and provides full IRS & Sierra diff.Marlin Roadster, LWB...1860 B Series + Ford Type 9
Renault Espace 54mm front calipers, vented discs, cycle wings and adjustable tie-bars.

Re: 4 bar link rear end !!!
When I bought my first Dolomite Sprint axle I did consider leaving all the original suspension brackets in place and using the complete Sprint set up with turreted springs and shocks. It really was a bare chassis modification, and I was unsure whether all the work was worth the end result.
But, in some ways I regret not doing it.
