  • Mk2 front upper arms

    Really appreciate if someone can remind me what the front upper suspension arms are from on the marina based roadster.

    I've got quite a bit of play in the near side wheel but doesn't seem to be the wheel bearing. That being said I'm going to overhaul the front suspension with new upper and lower joints, new wheel bearings and am considering overhauling the upper arm to suspension mounts.

    Classic Mini - dry version.
    Minispares et al do repair kits with new pins & needle rollers.
    Marlin Roadster, LWB...1860 B Series + Ford Type 9
    Renault Espace 54mm front calipers, vented discs, cycle wings and adjustable tie-bars.

        Certainly Classic Mini, actually wet or dry will work.

        here or there as published in Pitstop

        If you are talking about fore and aft movement.

        The repair kits I have seen all have had what I thought was excessive clearance issues. Ended up machining some that I was happy with,
        MOC member since 05/97
        1984 Marlin Roadster SWB.
        1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
        Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.
