  • Berlinetta tonneau cover

I've been interested in converting my hard-top Berli to a soft-top for years but never found a frame or complete hood. I live in Perth, Western Australia and its generally pretty predictable when its going to rain, so I'm now wondering about a more drastic approach to dispense with a top altogether, cut the window frames off the doors (and scrap the windows), and getting a tonneau cover made for when the weather is a little inclement. Has anyone heard of anyone else doing this? Anyone got a spare pair of doors to try out on?
    Thanks. Stu

    Re: Berlinetta tonneau cover

I have fitted tonneau covers to Berlys. I have never got rid of the window frames, just fitted flat top door cappings so I could fix the side fixings inside the window line. The front fixings on the flat top dash, and rear on the tail. Works well.

Thanks Danny. I'll have a look at that first before doing anything too drastic. Stu
