  • Early Christmas greetings

Early Christmas greetings to all our friends in the MOC. Our Christmas present has arrived. Our first grandchild Matthew born on 13th Dec weighed in at 7lbs.
The farmhouse is nearly finished and they moved in last Sat so it was close! We have spent the last 5 weeks painting. I don't want to see any more skirting board for ages.

A Very Merry Christmas to all you Marliners out there from Saundersfoot West Wales,

Having not met any other owners yet we are looking forward to a Merry Marlin Year 2018 getting out and about in our LWB Hunter named "Courageous" In the memory of my late father who just loved the 1930,s era of open motoring but never achieved ownership of his dream car,

Wrap up warm ! I doubt you will see too many steel bodied classics out over Christmas, they'll be worried about salt and rust. But in a marlin you can just go for it !

Just like to say a Merry Christmas to all & even more importantly a big thanks to all of the committee who run the club, create the pitstop magazine, sell merchandise, create the calendar & run the website (and many other things we don't always see behind the scenes). Thank you for all your hard work in 2017, you do a great job & are often undervalued ! This is a "proper" car club that is very well run & adds to the experience of ownership tremendously. Well done all

PS: That bloke that maintains the archives does a half decent job too !

Richard, thank you very much for your comments and, on behalf of the committee, I wish you and all club members a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year with plenty of Marlin activity (driving, building, restoring or just dreaming etc).
