          Thanks Phil.

Now that I know it has been done, up to me to work out how. Loving the technical challanges. I had asked on another thread for,

          ● Any major challanges and solutions with:
          1. Mechanicals
          2. Electrics
          3. Bodywork

          ● Anything they would have done differently as why?

When I built my Marlin the first time, I thought I knew what I was doing and had Paul Moor house 'build manual', this time I'm looking for clues and d any good advice from this forum.

Grateful for any info pointed my way.

Yes they were all challenges, I think I must have built and rebuilt the car several times because there was no manual to go by,my garage ceiling was fitted with beams going side to side and fore and aft, I could then hang parts anywhere HI wanted until I faced the next problem. I bought most of the studding in my local Wilkos, with the aid of brackets I could then position with miliimetre accuracy mountings and running gear before welding, or I had another light bulb moment..
The old saying" spend sometime thinking about it and then some more works well.
Costs a hell of a lot of money in tea, coffee and biccies, but enjoy it, imagination is key.

My guess is the running board treads.

No. What's the last thing you have to do when you have changed everything on the front suspension?

Get the suspension lined up with a professional laser kit. Most tyre fitting places offer this service now.

Open the door using the Lambretta Panel handles? Peter.

Wiper arms and a Marlin wooden knob for your gear lever.hrrrph

So its a Lambretta twist grip, used on the handbrake lever, but hidden under the tonneau Peter.

I like the way you think ,but no. Are you the same Peter I advised about soldering an olive onto a water rail to act as if the pipe was swaged?.
I am starting to feel guilty about taking up so much space on the site as it goes against the grain for me, the site is for car builders, so I apologise if I have irritated anyone.Peter go further forward, I must keep that gem of using a twist grip for a hand brake grip. Break not (brake).
