  • How many Berlinettas?

Is there a record of how many Berlinettas kits were sold, and roughly how many are currently on the road?

    Chust curious. Cheers :-)

    Hi Donnie

There is no definitive list as the records have moved a few times but when I got my kit in 1985 I'm pretty sure there were something like 400 kits that had been made. Anyone else think that sounds right? I may be way out and it may be 200. They stopped being manufactured around 1990, I think, so not sure how many were actually sold as kits. Even less sure how many are actually built, let alone on the road and being used! Sorry to be so vague.

Thanks, Sue. Blimey, they sound like rare beasts

I'm very pleased that some determined peeps are deciding to build them rather than letting the few remaining un-finished kits become spare parts.

Hey! If everyone with a Berli answers on this thread, it'll end up longer than the one by that eejit on the Miscellaneous forum...

I have a Berli but it is not one of those long ones mentioned by the eedjit on the miscellaneous forum....
