Sounds daft, but does anyone have any build pics for a swb Cabrio V8 that i might use for reference.
Looking for detail on alternator set up, fuel supply setup etc. Either pictures or information. This is my first build so any help would be welcomed & appreciated.
    Thanks, Gary.
(Also parts are needed, check classifieds)

    Hello Gary
I have a Marlin Cabrio V8 manf 92 (SWB). I will try to take some pictures of the areas you have out lined with my new digial camera.

I also have a new Marlin Prop shaft V8 if you are interested ?

I am in London all next week so it will be next weekend 12-13 Feb 05, before I can do it.

      Hello Paul
That would be much appreciated, thanks.

I am very interested in the prop shaft. I have tried to order one but have been told there are 2 different lengths for the swb cabrio?
      Many thanks for your help.

Do you still have the propshaft for sale?
            Regards, Gary

              Re: Cabrio Pics (Rover v8)

Propshaft on my swb v8 is 31 inches long. It was made by Des Shelley Shafts in Wolverhampton (01902 771969), and has a sliding spline, so accurate length not important, but you should measure the distance between the gearbox and differential flanges. I found Shelley's very helpful, they suggested using a Cosworth rear flange on the propshaft in view of the power going through it, and it has grease points at each end and on the spline. Price was good too as I recall.
