  • Ford Based Sportsters Front Suspension?

Does anyone know what donor car the front suspension mechanicals came from for the earlier Ford based Spotsters? - I hope the answer is Sierra/Granada.
I am building a Cabrio, but have always preferred the Sportster's front suspension set up, an am contemplating a conversion?

      Mike,
The hubs are Cortina Mk 4 or 5 as are the top and bottom ball joints, brake callipers and discs. Anti-roll bar is from the same but the brackets, rubber bushes, stabiliser bushes are Granada Mk2. The Steering rack and track rod ends are Sierra P100 which was shortened by Marlin. The wishbones were manufactured by Marlin

        Thanks Danny & Tim
I've heard of someone contemplating converting his Cortina set up to Sierra, so if he pulls it off succesfully I may go down that route.

On the basis that genuine Cortina parts are getting scarce please note that: Rally Design now supply cortina bolting pattern uprights in cast alloy plus hubs/discs to suit.
