  • Cornwall Festival of Transport.

This event was held last Sunday on Lemon Quay, Truro. It is organised by the Rover Enthusiasts South West and raises moolah for the air ambulance. I attended this year as I always try to do. There were many varied cars includinga rare 1936 hilman roadster and a 1932 Austin seven. The only other kit-car was a Marcos (!!).
I was parked between a lovely Jowett Javelin and the last of seven surviving 80s Ford Granada 2 litre EFi. Next year (2013) the show will be jheld on the first Sunday of June and is worth a visit. The other half can go shopping as all the big stores, pubs and cafes are open and very close by. I'll bung it on the calendar when the date is finalised.
It poured down just abot all day but did not put visitors off much.
