I am going down the road of having mine made for me. Marlin advise not using the rubber doughnut at the gearbox end. This will require a modification to the coupling to remove the nosing to allow the flanges to mate. Has anyone a pic of this end of a modified propshaft they can send e,mail to nick(at)strangebrew.freeserve.co.uk please

    Hi Nick,
sorry can't help with you question, but did Marlin say why they not using the rubber doughnut mounting at the gearbox end?

      Re: propshaft

I ordered a prop shaft for ours a few days back from Marlin. Terry has said there is enough adjustment in it to use with or without the rubber bush. So I will try without first and if it does not run smooth enough I'll put the bush in.

IIRC They were not standard on all E30 but added if something was not 100% perfectly balanced at a later date.
