  • Favouite roads

Two roads I have really enjoyed:

Devils Bridge to Rhyadar over the mountian road. Years ago in a Mk1 Escort Mexico, arrived with the brake fluid boiling.
A87 from the A82 to Skye. Mondeo with Spax sport suspension, chipped and modified exhaust. Had to fight with the wife over who drove back.

Love that road to Skye, I had the best ride ever on my old Laverda 750 bike, absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to go up there in the Roadster.

Tobermory to Dervaig, Isle of Mull. 27 hairpind and 'K' bends (greater than square), mixed with long very fast, very narrow and unforgiving straights. Bliss!

Have driven it countless times both competing on the Tour of Mull and as a visitor to the island since the mid eighties.

Well, I say race pace, it was the first time I ran it but managed to shave 70 seconds off this years winning time lol!

Just turn off the dreadful music!!!

      Edit:

      I just came across this...

Maybe many of you are aware of it but maybe not?

Members of the Marlin Owners Club refuel at Moffat en route South,Saturday 18th July 2009. (www.marlinownersclub.com)

Feel free to move it if I am too far OT.
