  • Revised road tax arrangements

I may be a bit slow on the uptake but I have just discovered the planned changes to those vehicles not needing a road fund licence.
With effect from 1st April 2014, for vehicles first registered before 1st January 1974, owners will no longer be required to purchase a tax disk. That's £200 worth saving.

    Re: Revised road tax arrangements

It was contained in the small print of the last budget (April '13).
I was hoping it would have been from January 1st rather than April 1st but financial years win!
I shall be at my local post office and hope they have updated their computers. My roadster has been 6 months too young for too long!
