  • Unfaithful to Marlin

    MGA.jpg

Marlin is still my favourite but I was at Brookland Historics auction on Saturday and this 1960 MGA did not reach reserve. It was in such good shape (even if not the popular Roadster or twin cam) I decided onthe spur of the moment to get it and did a deal with the auctioneer (and very understanding wife).

Note the Marlin behind still has the honour of the cover!!

It did break down driving it home - hopefully just an overheating coil - oh the joys of 60's motoring.

Lovely! I restored one of these back in the day. Was a complete nightmare as none of the panels were sound. However it looked well nice when finished and drove brilliantly for a car of that age. HOpe you enjoy it.
