With a Santander temporary number plate it looks like an A series engine especially as its listed as a 1300. Interesting to see it is a hybrid but with the Marina bulkhead.

So it's probably a Mk2 but with Triumph front end?

All the hybrids are Mk2's and come with the Triumph front suspension arrangement, but it seems a few of the early hybrids came with the Marina bulkhead but not sure if that was part of the evolution or if the type of bulkhead was an option. Most hybrids have the Triumph bulkhead. I suppose it depended on the donor if you were using a Triumph and sourcing a Marina rear axle or a Marina and sourcing the Triumph front suspension. Take your pick.

Ben is right, it's a Temorary numberplate held on with zip ties, but it's not from Santander.
The spanish, like the UK have used several different numbering systems. Pre 2000 they used to have up to three letter regional codes but they were always black lettering on a white background.
Various colour combinations are currently used for different classes of vehicles whether agricultural,, motorcycles, trailers etc or indeed temporary with white on red lettering, but the first letter is no longer a regional identifier.

If it was an 1800 I might have been interested but it's too far away from me and more than a day's drive there and back, with tolls, fuel and accommodation, it's not practical, but it does look a tidy example, apparently rebuilt/restored in 2010
