  • Q67 - Some bits needed : Spring plate and four shocks

Hi guys. So far in the strip down I have found that I need both rear shocks (Marina rear shocks) and front shocks (Triumph rear shocks) ....anyone with spares ?
If not they'll probably appear on ebay sometime - there's no rush as it will be a while before the chassis is ready to go again.

Also need this "spring plate " .....out of the four, three are good to go again but the fourth is no use, as you can see from the pic. Does anyone have a spare lying around ?

Hi Dave. If you can't source an actual OE part there is always the chance that another application would fit.

If you search ebay "leaf spring plates" you get links such as the following:

These look much stronger than yours. Just need to check the hole diameters and pitches are ok. Peter.

Thanks Peter, added that to my list of useful websites, though obviously OE is the preferred route.

Escort plates have larger fixing holes and a slightly different pitch.
i would be surprised if your Ubolts are not in a similarly worn condition.

Contact the seller they'll probably be happy to make a "Marlina" set for you if you provide either the dimensions of a pattern.
