  • The British Ironwork Centre

Hi all, don't know how many of you may have heard of this place, just off the A5 near Oswestry Shropshire, but if you are in the area, it is well worth a visit and it's free!
One of the best days out I've had in a long time. From life size animals, (including elephants!), to toy cars, they promote art in metal. We were also privaliged to meet the artist who made the Spoon Gorilla, (Google it!), and is now completing the Knife Angel, a 26ft high, 10 ton Angel made out of knife weapons recovered by the police in stop and search operations around the country and shortly be displayed in Tafalgar Square.

Visit the Ironworks to see outstanding metal artworks and sculptures, stop for a tasty treat in the Forge café or take home a unique find from our showroom.

But the below leaflet caught my eye whilst we were there, and would be worth attending...anyone interested???

    All the best, Gareth.
