  • Lovely sunny day ...

Up and out before 8am under a bright blue sky with sun behind me, but a little chilly, to drive to south of county for a coaching course.
Return journey mid-afternoon with sun still behind me and with far greater warmth.
    Thoroughly enjoyable.

Lovely sunny day. Went with 38 other cars to Hodstock Priory, nr Worksop. Mostly classics, although some modern cars in the mix, due to some cars off the road for repairs and some owners also having repairs and not able to drive classics at the mo! This was Ashbourne Classic Enthusiasts on a day out. Lunch at the Priory and a meal at a pub nearer home at night. Glad of the car heater later on. Sunny but cool. Mot due Wed then its Stoneleigh.

Went for an early morning rundown to Gurston Down heil climb. It was cold in the morning but with the right cloathing it was a great run down with a couple of SKCC regulars utilising as many country lanes as possible.
