  • Winslow Classic Run, Sunday 17 July

I'm posting this on behalf of my brother in law - regrettably some of us are in Welshpool (again) on Sat 16th, so cannot make this.
An email contact address is below
    DC

A non competitive event for classic vehicles using tulip
directions to navigate a route carefully chosen to visit some
    of Buckinghamshire’s most interesting places.
Using carefully selected quiet minor roads ideal for classic cars the route
includes the Kop Hill hillclimb, the Aston Martin Monument, the
notorious Bridego Bridge made famous by the Great Train Robbery, &
passing the Prime Minister’s country home, Chequers.
Starting from Horwood House, an imposing manor which was the
birthplace of Percy Thrower the gardener. Entrants will sign on here and
relax before the start with coffee and pastries which are included in the
    entry fee.
The Route will finish at Claydon House and gardens, an 18th C National
Trust property closely associated with Florence Nightingale and the seat
of the Verney family from 1620. The house is open to visitors (N.T.
members free) and the grounds provide plenty of space for picnics if you
haven’t stopped at one of the many fine inns passed en route.
Numbers are limited to 100 vehicles so be sure to book your place today by
downloading an entry form from www.winslowrotary.co.uk
