    Met up with Dave at Dunkeswell airfield today an took some photos of his new shiny thing next to mine!

    Wow. Did he sell the Berli? The Cabrio looks great. What motor has it under that shiny bonnet?
    I'm off to get a new SS exhaust for Moll tomorrow. I'll post news after the "operation". I'm still staying with the side exhaust though.

      Yes the deed is done. Was quite sad seeing it go, but it was a good learning experience.

      Already the development plans are forming so watch this space.

      Currently dohc 2.0 with mt75 box. Good enough for now, but a change will be happening in the future.

      Ps - it's a hunter not a cabrio darling ;-)

        We know it as a Marlin Cabrio Hunter.
        ie a Cabrio built by the factory and called a Hunter.
        All hunters were long wheel base with boot lids.

          I beg to differ. Happy Dave has a SWB Hunter and mine is a LWB Hunter. Photos below of the door rear edge and wing join shut lines are the definitive Mk1 eyeball check. The LWB doors are also longer than the SWB.
