  • SWB or LWB

Can any one advise what the cut off point is. Can a six foot driver manage with a swb cabrio or is a lwb required.

    Danny
I'm 5 10 and have the seat as far back as it will go in my swb, so I'd have to say a lwb would be my suggestion for a 6 footer

          Hi Danny,
I am only 5ft.8in. and have a SWB Cabrio,it fits me like a glove,if i were taller i think i would find it too cramped. I have had 6ft plus passengers and had them sit in the drivers seat, they definately looked as though they needed more leg room although the seat was as far back as it would go.With their feet forward in the footwell "no problem",but the problem arises when they brought their feet back towards the seat and their knees had trouble clearing the lower dash. With hindsight i would have built a LWB, as apart from the extra cabin space, i think the extra 4inches makes the car look sleeker.
Hope this is of some help.
          Regards Mike.
