  • JRR past its MOT

''Tolkien Past it's MOT test today.
I had to choose a wet day so I got soaked.
I also put 10 litres of fuel so I didn't run short, however!!!!! It didn't like having diesel and eventually stopped of the way back so had to be towed back home.
Still at least I know what I have to do tomorrow.
( I think having a diesel car when I filled the can may have distracted me. It's lame but the only excuse I can think off apart from senility!!)

Still at least the car past. after a long time off the road

Glad its passed. Not had one since I owned it in 2004. Not sure about the diesel though! Hope no damage. Liz

          Re: JRR past its MOT

Thanks Steve I did know that.
In view of how long it is since it took and passed an MOT, we think at least 10 years, I thought that using past was ok but perhaps it was a bit too subtle for some members of the MOC

            Nice one Derek.
While I am reading,on the news they just mentioned that the most influential woman f the last 70yrs, one of them who failed was JRR. How quirky is that.
            Ps. No milk today, thank's.
