  • Showcase classic & Sports Car Gala

Just received the following invite so have reproduced it word for word:-

    Hello,

We'd like to invite your club members to take part in the Showcase Classic & Sports Car Gala on Sunday 7th May, in the grounds of Cowdray House, Midhurst, West Sussex.
Full details of the event can be found at www.showcase-classic-cars.events. The event will be a great gathering of British Classic & Sports cars. So far we have a great range of cars taking part
dating from the 1940s up to the 1990s, including Triumphs, Lotuses, Jaguars, and MGs, and we'd love to see some of your members' cars too. Tickets start from just £25 per car (no matter how many occupants), and include live music throughout the day, priority parking on the showground, and an event plaque.
Participants can also take part in our "Showcase Run" fun drive across the South Downs in the morning.

All cars will be considered for best in class prizes, and we are delighted that our prize giving will be hosted by Team GB double Olympic gold medallist Joanna Rowsell Shand.
The event is being held in aid of the charity Alopecia UK, of which Joanna is ambassador. There will also be trade stands and stalls to browse and enjoy, along with a great selection of food and hot drinks.

For those travelling from afar, you will find details of accommodation options on our website.
We'd be very grateful if you would please list our event on your club calendar, or in any newsletter you may distribute to your members.

Early bird tickets are available now at www.showcase-classic-cars.events starting from just £25 per car. Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to seeing your members and their lovely cars on 7th of May.

    Best wishes

Excellent venue, just a little tedious driving the A272 which has few passing places.
    A complimentary venue to Cranleigh

1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
