Jeremy I hope to remember my website password in the next day or so so I can update it and put all the pix I've taken on there. Mines the BMWsportster.co.uk that Patrick mentioned. Nice to see he still passes on my site even though it's so out of date !! ;-)

John was hoping to have the car "driving" by next Tuesday so that we could take it to his monthly Vindicator track day to let it have a run and to check e.g. brakes before SVA. It's not going to make it but I think he's still planning to have it completed before the November playtime.

Current sticky points? leaking radiator and rear wheels that don't fit without spacers that seem to have the longest 48hour delivery in history. Oh and no dashboard yet!

Do you know the supplier of the expansion tank for your sportster?

                Andy

Which wiring loom have you used - the original BMW loom, or the marlin generic lucas loom?
I am building a Cabrio with the M50 engine and the electrics, particularly the interface with the BMW engine loom to the main loom are my biggest worry on the whole project?Have your builders drawn a wiring diagram?
                regards
                Mike
