I'm looking for an ignition module for a replacement 2.0 Pinto that Bob is going to transplant into my car in the new year. Not sure if it's Bosch or Lucas that I'm looking for yet but if you have something, know of one, can point me in the direction of one I would be interested. Will post the type when I know it but putting feelers out now.

    Thanks

    Re: Ignition Module

I can recommend the haldon normal system they also do a Dogs wotsits version but its not cheap. Surely the later Pinto engines had electronic ignition anyway.

Yes Ben the later pinto had electronic ignition as standard This is a Bosch dizzy and you would need to get the module that is supplied with it. I have a bosch with an after market lumenition system, and I know that Burton sell a system for the motorcraft dizzy. It all depends on what system dizzy Sue has got.
