Hi, can anyone help with new rear lights and front side lights?

Another long shot is a pair of LWB wing extension plates?

    Thanks

They are what I'm going to use. Got a new set left over from a Land Rover restoration. Only thing to remember is no reflector so you need to add those somewhere. My rear side / stop is like this -

that has reflector. The number plate window is just half way round so can be positioned downwards so not noticeable.
On my Austin A35 I changed the rear numberplate light for a Lucas 564 item that then gave me an extra rear light plus brake light yet fitted to original hole so no modification needed to the car.

Use the round ones (landrover for the rear) but change the rubbolite front sides for these ... $T2eC16hHJHUFFf)zgf(!BS,lKIM2+g~~60_57.JPG

thats a pic of ebay 380783383563 (also in my saved list) - the only thing to be careful with there is that that is not the actual bayonet, electrics etc, just the surround, so useful as an upgrade but not the full shebang in and of itself (afaik)

Re: wanted: Roadster real lights and other Roadster parts

I fitted the whole lot to my roadster including the bayonet connectors. I needed to relive just a small amount of GRP but they went in fine

what did you use for the bayonet if you have used 380783383563?

not that I've wasted much time looking to see if i could come up with just the thing .......

I got 2 x short looms off ebay for about £10, stuck the light units in the wing mounting hole using a none setting mastic(gutter seal I think), seems to have worked so far(12 mnths)

Re: wanted: Roadster real lights and other Roadster parts

I found the standard bayonet from modern car side repeaters fit just fine. I think mine came from a fiesta or corsa. I may have needed to file a little to ensure the lugs met up but dont remember it being onerous.

                            Hi Cameron.
Do you have the part numbers for all the bits that are needed for this sidelight mod?

I fitted LED bulbs to my OE Hunter chrome rimmed rubbolites but they have always seemed too "blue" compared with the sidelights in the Quad Optic headlight units.

I have put a light amber filter behind the lens which get the colour correct but now the side lights have an amber look in sunlight so the RR ones are for me as they will match well with the clear (orange when lit) LED flasher lamps that I bought at Donington (and still have to fit!). Peter.

Hi Peter I used range rover vogue crystal side repeater lenses ebay item 171743944082 and then bought some chromed 501 sidelight bulbs. The holders were just some Fiesta ones I had lying around but you will find it easier to keep to teh range rover ones as no mod needed.
                              Hope this helps
