    Can I get windscreen and door windows which have a BS, CE or EU Standard mark on the glass for my 1988 Berlinetta ? Car was failed in NCT recently.

        I think you may be able to go to a machinery glass supplier (like someone who does tractors, forklifts etc) and get them to cut one from a blank. the BS code will likely be BS 5282 or the equivalent E 43R marking. they may be able to etch it if its not already on the sheet of glass from which the screen is cut. Another way is to use a landrover screen and get that cut at a local glazier, hope that helps

          Hi Declan,
          Sorry you are having problems. I am not too familiar with the Berlinetta but if it is like the Cabrio the side windows are standard and should be marked. The mark may be hidden because the window does not come up as far as it would in the donor. If it is marked the tester may accept a photo if it obvious that it is your car.

            I received a tip from a Marlin Club Owner member which led to success. A glazier whose business is near me and specialises in glass for agricultural machinery was able to sort out the problem in about 15 minutes and at very little cost. Thanks to all for the tip.
