    Re: Starter motor cable

I would also run a heavy negative direct from the battery to the engine as well as the engine being
    earthed to the chassis.

    Re: Starter motor cable

As the maximum draw would be around 450amps then the 485amp cable will leave a margin for overload.

If you are fitting the terminals your self then make sure you get a good connection.

    Re: Rear shocks

The reason the shocks in dcunn's picture are up side down is because they probably are Triumph Herald fronts.

The top mount is from the donor Marina.

The all Marina kit should use Marina...

    Re: Marlin Roadster Registration Advice

That is a Marina shot but the plate should be in a similar position.

Im afraid it will have to conform to the latest regs.

If the chassis is as you say Triumph front and Marina rear it is a hybrid and the kit chassis number is on a small plate on the left front chassis rail.

Problem is this the kit number and...

    Re: Triumph Roadster

I would have thought if you have the right spec shock absorbers it would all
    work OK.

Quite a few Mk1 cars have the rotoflex set up and as far as I recall no one
    has raised this problem before.

    Re: Jrr 929 d

If as I suspect JRR is using an extended Triumph column there would be an original sliding joint near the bulkhead
which would allow you to refine the steering wheel position.

  25. Re: Raceline water rail, Zetec engine and overheating.

If you read the blurb on the Raceline site this is what it says
During the warm-up phase a small by-pass hole in the thermostat allows some water flow, so preventing local overheating.
