    aul made bucket seats with removable cushions so they could be taken out and not get wet. Derek fitted the seats which are in now. Liz

    It won't worry us if JRR is not there. It was built winter 1976 so is older than the Roadsters by a bit. Would be better if it was running properly than wrecking the engine.

    Drive it Day

    100 miles round the Peak District with our Ashbourne Club. Great fun and a much better day than Saturday when it was nearly trying to snow!

    The valve seats were re-cut and valves re-faced in 1992. Don't think its had any other engine work since.
    Are you coming to Stoneleigh in it?

    We had a smaller steering wheel and the overdrive switch was mounted next to the gear lever on the transmission tunnel.

    Depending on age and make of tyres around 18 -20psi, I found 22psi was too high when cornering. Liz

    Is the 35 psi mandatory? I should be careful on the road at that tyre pressure, maybe blow them up when you arrive. Liz

    I think Derek put a new wiring loom on her. I can't remember what the switches were for but the passenger used to have a heater and so did the driver. I sold it 2004 so memory not good now...
