    Here's the engine after the head gasket was cut to size, and the early CAD for the wooden floor.

    The body is now on, and thank you Bill, the seats will fit.

    With thanks to Danny I now have a heater, which I have refurbed, and it's provisionally in place.

    Next big job will be the floor

    It's a clutch cable clip from a Mk1 Escort, and they are available for around £20 ! ! ! (Owch)

    With my Scrooge hat on, I wonder of anyone may have one lying...

    Are both radiatores heating up?

    Have you checked there are no blockages?

    Are the water pump and thermostat working OK ?

    Just a thought Terry, often the problem is fuel vapourising in the...

    From AMC in the mid 1960s I believe, they are quite a cult classic......and Corgi did one too !

    There was also 1968-9 Corgi gift set with trailer, kayak etc, now very expensive if you can find one

    The kit was produced in Sept 1991, this is a 1996 pic, and it last changed...
