    Re: Soft top roof

Hi John, see my earlier post, "Recommendation for hood/seat repairs"
If you've got the old one for a pattern I'm pretty sure he'd sort you out. He mainly does canal boat covers and seat. He's based...

    Recommendation for hood/seat repairs

Hi, just had the side screens for the Roadster hood re-done. Larger windows put in them for better visibility and well chuffed with the quality and price of this guy. If you're near Chester and want...

    Re: Project roadster on eBay.

The A frames tend to be classed as a recovery item, rather than a towing item, and is therefore a bit of a grey area. I'd suggest if you're towing the Marlin to go on holiday, that you disable the...

Re: New cover for the Roadster

The cover fits the across the screen, just a loose fit over the wipers, but stops anyone looking in.
The plates came with the car, but pretty sure you'll get some easily made on eBay.

    New cover for the Roadster

I never quite understood tonneau covers. They seem to lie flat and collect water. I've made this cover to fit over the screen and any water will flow straight off the back. It also keeps prying eyes...

    Re: Alernator charging problem.

I've had that before. The alternator was duff. Ok when cold but circuit breaking down when warm. Have you tried measuring output when the engine is hot?

    Re: Stafford Ride It

Dave, if you look at one of my earlier posts from a while back, I bought a 3 inch blower fan, the sort that is in inboard motor speed boats to clear the fumes and some 3in flexible ducting. The fan...

    Oil change

Hi, I was changing the engine and gearbox oils on the Roadster yesterday and struggling to fill the gearbox via the filler hole on the side of the box. There's no room to get the 1ltr plastic bottle...

Re: Roadster Rebuild Diary from Cornwall

It's at Llyn Brenig, North Wales. Part of the infamous 'Evo Triangle', (Google it).

    Re: Tonneau , marina roadster

It's just a rain cover Dave, and will keep prying eyes out. I made one out of plastic sheeting and used the 'lift the dot' fasteners at the back to keep it in place. Works very well in heavy rain....
