    Car back together now, with brackets courtesy of John T. Have been out for a run. Car fells more stable, and it feels "tighter". Will need to get the tracking checked, although it feels O.K....

    Just a word of Caution. DO NOT tow your car by the steering rack, it's just not strong enough and it could move the rack forward in the bracket and your tracking would change dramatically....

    I have always stored the central roof support around the closed roof, it tucks in neatly around the cant bar. The cover goes over the top and keeps it all in place. Hope this helps.
