    Re: roadster hood swb

Good stuff, but can be tricky to sew through in some cases as adhesive builds up on needle. I've used various luff and spinnaker repair tapes when dinghy sailing, bought from chandlers.
    Probably...

    Re: Trials Marlins

I believe that they are individual hand brakes allowing the driver to 'lock' a spinning wheel so allowing drive to be transmitted to the other . Acts like an LSD but only with driver input.

    Re: Pinto ground clearance

Apparently Mk 3 Granada sump are shallower but you may have to alter oil pickup pipe. There are of course those from the rallying guys , Rs 2000 and the like but likely to be expensive.

    Re: Roadster kit for sale

I would have had the body panels for spares, but seller wanted buyer for the whole car and I don't have room for spare chassis.
  13. Re: Last run in the Marlin for this year, maybe ?

Had CPY 301L out for a run to the Sheldon meet on Saturday. Shame that all others came in their euroboxes due to the temperature being in single figures !
New rear shocks are an improvement but...

You may wish to consider using an anti-corrosive jointing compound . This was standard practice during my RAF service and affectionately known by us 'riggers' as 'Parrot Sh--' due to it's colour!

    Re: Berlietta for sale

    I'm with you Scott!
On another tangent , this is why as much as I like the sportster, it needs the roll bar removing so that a 'proper' hood can be designed. You only need to see David Siddal's car...

    Re: Drive shafts

I also bought complete shafts from the same company as Scott for my last Cabrio . Good price and the quality seemed to be ok.
As already stated be sure to get the right lengths.
