    Re: EPAS

Thanks for the correction Mike, you are quite right in that I had confused the hydraulic system [was that Bob Jackson who tried it?] with the Corsa electric .

    Friction hinge

I am looking for a pair of friction hinges [ the type used for wind deflectors] I don't wish to pay Europa or similar prices and shipping from USA is also wild.
    Any ideas please?

I'm not familiar with the Microsteer product, but a few Cabrio owners experimented with electric power assist utilizing a Vauxhall Corsa unit incorporated into the Sierra steering column.

Re: Brakes - Single or dual circuit?

Whether a Roadster is overbraked or not on the front axle is not the question. Robin clearly wishes to fit dual circuit brakes for safety reasons and at the moment is unable to source the correct...

Re: Brakes - Single or dual circuit?

I've just read that a master cylinder with servo from a Austin Allegro 73-75 bolts straight on and its dual circuit. Gleaned from Fast Marina site.

    Hi Mick
I would follow the advice earlier by 'ye old ripper' and check the auto adjust mechanism if that is what is fitted. There are also several versions giving different amounts of pull for the...

Both Speedo and tacho are described as Mechanical! I had an early MG Midget with mechanical tacho [driven by dynamo through a small gearbox] Is this going to be the same arrangement?

    Re: New Marlin Cabrio

Simpler? What's complicated, it's pretty basic as powerplants go and it's a BMW so it'll never need anything other than an oil change now and then.
