    Re: Roadster roof

Don’t I know it :-) my welding isn’t great but when I do get a neat weld that I can be proud of I do exactly the same 5 minutes later and a bit of a mess.
Looks good with a bit of grinding though. ...

    Re: Roadster roof

There has been quite a few posts about soft tops and some that have found a company to make one.
Search on here or in the true spirit of kit car ownership make one yourself, many have successfully.

    Re: Roadster Fibreglass wanted.

My spare nose went to another fellow marliner a couple of years ago and the wiper trim went all the way to Duncan in Zew Zealand.
    I don’t have a spare dash scuttle.
    Cheers, Martin.

Looking good. Where did you get the stainless steel light bar?

You may be on to something with the cam belt being a tooth out.

    Re: Overheating Roadster

I agree that speeding up the water pump shouldn’t cause extra stresses on it but wouldn’t that speed up the water flow through the radiator and therefore not cooling it enough before it enters the...
  10. Re: LWB refurbishment - based on marina 1.7 O series

    Hi Mikeyp,
Take the spark plugs out and squirt a bit of diesel in the bores then leave to soak for a day or so then try turning over by hand with the plugs still removed. Sorry if you have already...

    Re: Overheating Roadster

    Hi James,
I take it that your electric fan is blowing air through the radiator from the outside and not sucking hot air through from the engine bay.
I could have easily made that mistake when...

Only problem with this for me is my OCD about the number plate. As explained in a previous post about a Marina pickup with ‘V’ in the registration.

    With those wheels too.
Looks like SWB, what is the overall length of that, just wondering if it would fit in my van.

    Looking great Barry.
Fits well and I see the top and back are one piece with the sides sewn in.
Different to the original roof but it works very well.

Sticky: Re: What have you done with your marlin today
