    Cabrio front suspension bush renewal

    Hi all,
Cabrio question. I will be replacing all the front suspension bushes on my 1990 Ford 2.0 DOHC EFI Cabrio at the end of October. The handling has become a bit soggy.
    I have the correct road...

    Re: Log book

My Cabrio VIN number is 17 characters and ends with two letters - MK. How confusing this all is.
  5. Re: Fuel pump and ignition circuit fuse blowing on mu Cabrio. Help!

I have the same switch on my Cabrio which has Ford DOHC engine but mine is mounted in the boot.
  6. Re: Just suppose you have to tow your Marlin on a trailer...

Putting a front engined car backwards on a trailer will upset the trailer balance. Instead of positive downwards force on the tow ball it will try to lift the rear of the towing car and the trailer...

Re: Fuel neck and filler cap

I tend to use this site for Ford parts information. It has excellent diagrams and part number detail, incuding aftermarket alternatives where applicable.

Would this package work in a Cabrio which currently has the Ford 2.0 DOHC EFi engine and MT75 gearbox?

Re: Cabrio lower steering universal joint

Thanks for the information. Found the article OK under October 2007.

Even so the Pitstop link for Oct 2008 wrongly brings up the December/January 2008 edition. Perhaps Geoff Grum could take a look...

Re: Cabrio lower steering universal joint

I just looked for the October 2008 edition in the Pitstop archive on the site and the link opens the December/January 2008 edition. Can this be corrected?

I picked up a pair of Morgan mirrors for £40 on EBay. The top hole of the standard mirror is used, drill and tap a new hole lower down. Be careful to miss the glass channel. Seal up the unused...

It was good to meet you too, Peter. It’s Phil by the way.

Two Marlins on the same petrol forecourt together must be unusual. I had been for a blat through Helston, up to Redruth, along the A30 to...

Re: Hunter hood, header bar stowage?

I fit my bar for the winter and leave it there. In summer, the roof only goes up for security when I park in a public place or when caught by a heavy rain shower while driving. You don’t need the bar...

Re: Hunter hood, header bar stowage?

It will actually fit in the boot right at the back. Takes a bit of practice but it will lie across the floor just in front of the boot lid hinge

    Re: Cabrio/Hunter owners - - please help

Hi Dave, I think you probably already have mine but it’s a dark blue Cabrio with Ford 2.0 DOHC Efi Reg G301 UMW and VIN number T4165JGKR199808MK
