    Re: Unfinished Roadster for Sale

I’ve never noticed the featured suspension elements through the inner wings before!
If it were mine, I would be looking to fabricate a polished stainless/chrome strut brace to make it a real feature...

Re: Whatever happened to J C sportscars?

Its a curiosity that I use the Default style, always have as far as I remember, what people are describing is, I think, Marlin style.

Re: Whatever happened to J C sportscars?

I have made no changes to my settings, still using default style.

Presumably this post is bug free! It looks fine to me. Using a different device my John Cowperthwaite post looks perfectly OK, no...
  7. Re: Ref. Triumph Gearbox and Overdrive problems

I’m guessing that the propshaft had been removed in order to move the car, because it had a myriad of issues that were beyond the previous owner’s skill set and wallet!

Re: Whatever happened to J C sportscars?

Clearly John Cowperthwaite (JC Sportscars) is very much alive.

Whist providing most of the parts, a significant part of the construction costs will be the the electric drill and battery, not cheap...

Do you fancy a Turbo Roadster.

I doubt it would fit quickly and easily but it could be fun, with a few mods to the suspension, brakes etc.

Ben Clayton is selling the engine from his Turbo Marina Saloon, ideal for someone...

  15. Re: Marlin Roadster (Marina Based) Steering Rack Redux

I think this topic has run its course, there is sufficient info in the public domain.

Maybe I was a bit harsh, but Chris Weedon does put a great deal of work into the community and deserves broader recognition.

As I understand it Chris has set up a deal with a UK intermediary...

  18. Re: Marlin Roadster (Marina Based) Steering Rack Redux

    Re: Replaceing Front Indicators

Kind of like the IVA regulations applied to cars, where possible many lighting protrusions on motorcycles are now flexible.
They certainly are on my modern era bikes.
