    Re: Unfinished Roadster for Sale

From memory Marlin never had this design on any of their cars. That would make this car a YKC Sierra based Roadster, because YKC did not manufacture Cabrios. If memory serves of course, which can be...

    Re: Unfinished Roadster for Sale

The front suspension seems to be small coilover struts which was a YKC feature, I think.

Re: Whatever happened to J C sportscars?

If you scroll to the very bottom left of this page, there is a small box where you can change the colour of the page which may help.

A member requested some measurements by private message, but I am unable to post pics there. So I am posting them here for now.

Could you post a pic, because without it only members with exactly the same car will be able to help?

The exhaust was just too low, it grounded on a couple of sleeping policemen. There was a silencer mounted under the passenger seat, but there are two box section crossmembers which prevented the...

    Re: Berlinetta build and restoration

At long last I took the Marlin for a first drive in 19 years, not counting the MOT. After a mad rush trying to make it to Stoneleigh things calmed down a bit, and I decided to get the Marlin finished...

If I need shims I will start by using washers between the hub and the swing arm until I have the desired measurement. Then make shims the same thickness as the washers.

Google "plant glazing" in your area. They can cut flat glass no problem, usually for plant machinery but should be able to do the same for a Marlin.
