    If you still have the original backplates behind the disc it could be disc rubbing the backplate. Jack the car , remove brake pads and see if the noise persists is another try.

    Their site doesn't seem to specify whether fitment is for short or long wheel base versions . Didn't the shape of transmission tunnel and hence the floorpans change when YKC took over?

    I've looked at a couple of images that both show a crankcase ventilation pipe running round the back of the engine to the manifold , so somewhat confused that you say your engine is minus this pipe....
