    If you can not find one, then since the screen is flat, search for a local Plant and agricultural windscreen repairs/fitters. A good one can cut a screen to fit on site.

    HAZ = Heat Affected Zone. It goes brittle after welding compared with the normal ductile material.

    Hi Mick,
    The diode is just like a one way valve,it just lets electricity flow through it in one direction. Connecting it 'the wrong way round' will not damage it.
