    Re: Stoneleigh 2021

I have just been informed by the organisers of the Stoneleigh show that we have the same pitch (63) as last time but it appears we need to share part of it with another club. For this year the whole...

    Re: Fuse Ratings

Agree with John. My windows got very sluggish to the point where the drivers side needed manual assistance to get it up. I use PMA silicon lubricant and they shoot up now. Keep 'em greased!

    Re: Fuse Ratings

The Sierra does have a 30A fuse for the power windows but presumably that makes provision for all four windows being operated at the same time. As you say, the Cabrio only has two and I would have...

    Re: Suggestions for 215/60r15 tyres

I meant to add that these tyres were less than £80 each fitted but that was 3 or 4 years ago.

    Re: Suggestions for 215/60r15 tyres

Just to add to the information (or confusion!) I use Falken Ziex Ecorun 205/65 R15 tyres on my Cabrio. They seem to perform well and the wear rate on the front is minimal. A bit higher on the back...

    Re: Q294 on Facebook

    Robin,
There are a few pics of cycle wing Roadsters in the gallery which may help. One particularly nice one (in my opinion) is CUF 131L which appears to have cycle wings that turn with the wheels....

    Re: North Wales

Looks fabulous - great photos. Brings back memories of camping trips in Snowdonia. I think you have done more miles in one trip than I have managed in the whole year so far.

    Re: Stoneleigh?

Yes, that's my understanding. The Newark show originally planned for 24th/25th July is considered to be too soon after the new proposed restriction removal date of 19th July. We will try and get the...

    Re: Marlin under new ownership

My understanding from the statement provided to me by Terry Matthews which is on the website and in the latest Pitstop is that Tom Sloan bought the Exi build rights and jigging with a view to...

I have been contacted by an owner in France who needs some new wheel studs and nuts for his Marina based Roadster. Apparently his mechanic managed to destroy some of them! Any ideas of the best...

Sticky: Re: What have you done with your marlin today

Took our Cabrio to Orford in Suffolk last Thursday and did a 6 mile walk followed by a pub (in the garden) lunch. Only about 15 miles each way from home but good to be using the car again. As has...

Re: Towing a Roadster with an A Frame

Several motor home owners tow small cars e.g. Smart or similar city cars so would it be worth talking to a motor home supplier to check on what is considered legal.

    Hello Bill,

As a club we have no formal documentation for this purpose and, as you probably realise, its always very difficult to value kit cars. You will no doubt have to submit a series of...

I don't seem to have a 4 digit ref no. on my tickets, just a 10 digit order no. unless its the last 4 digits at the end of the QR code.
