    Have you got a copy of the Haynes manual No.310 or Autodata one 305? That should be a help. I've got a 2l in my roadster but now has twin DelOrtos.

    You need two valves, one to cut off the flow to the heater and one to maintain the flow that would have gone through the heater to maintain the coolant circulation during warm up till the thermostat...

    You can only anodise alluminium and magnesium and some titanium alloys, plateing is a different process.

    My floor is ½" marine ply bolted and silicone sealed in. The runners have a block under the front to tip the seat back a bit, about 1" high.
