    But its hard to work with - special thinners and once can opened it cant be re-sealed as paint on lip sets like metal

    I agree unless you have hardness testing machine you wont know what you have. Buy material of known spec - cheaper than a funeral

    Dropped Marlin off for MOT a 6am outside my local garage who know me well - just got to work and realised I left lights on - they are going to love me !!

    OK fitted new discs and pads - run out zero ish. vibration at 60 to 70 now significantly improved. Noticed the hub spiggot and disc bore had 8 thou clearance (as did the old ones). obviously that run...

    Given the general tired cruddy state of front brakes I decided to overahaul back - all ok just needed a clean and a bit of grease on adjusters (but another year would have seen sticking brakes)....

    Thanks whoever suggested it could be warped discs mine had 10thou run out clearly visible - new discs on orger will let you know if it fixes it

    I added Techno Classica in Essen - it takes a weekend trip so you need to plan ahead but a brilliant show - I have been twice now - biggest I have ever been to although NEC in Nov is getting close
