    Re: GT6 Based overheating

You say the ‘thermostat’ removed by previous owner, do you mean the electric fan switch, or the actual engine thermostat?

If the latter, then you will have big overheating problems. Coolant has...

    Re: Millie antiroll bar

If it involves, preferably using only two pieces of string, a plank of wood and a school rule, can you please explain how I can measure camber, at home in the garage?

    Advice much appreciated,...

    Re: Millie antiroll bar

Being rather more careful and jacking the ARB up flat against the wall, with an 8mm 'foot' to allow for the 'end' of the rule, surprisingly I get the same on both ends at 322mm:-

    Re: Millie antiroll bar

Here are some more dims from the front suspension, pretty self-explanatory and might save you from wrestling with the ARB again. The ‘compression strut’ is nearly parallel to the track-rod but leans...

    Re: Millie antiroll bar

Paul, this was my 'previous' ARB, some damage to the step and possibly bent, hence replacement. I've cleaned up both ends, and can see no visible markings at all! Best I can do to measure, as...

Paul, I hate to add to your worries, but…. The washers either side of the compliance bushes look a ‘tad’ small, compared to mine? I’m sure V8Pete will put me right here, but when I replaced the...

    Re: Wind deflectors

Can't advise on sizes, but. If you don’t have a fine-bladed bandsaw, then a very fine-toothed jigsaw might do it. We used to use paraffin to lubricate Perspex to stop it melting for cutting and...
  15. First drive of the year - (To the test station for an MOT)

I fired up the Marlin, then somewhat in trepidation and by a circuitous route (thinking the EEC-V needed to relearn) I dropped her off at the garage for our first MOT as a Marlin owner.

    I’d been...
