    Re: Seat Reinforcement

On my Roadster, I made wedges 1/2" to 2" to go under both the seats, tipping them back by 2". I then fastened 'strap tee' hinges to the driver's seat, which means I can tip it forward to access...

    Re: Not

Brilliant, Motor Rail was much better than the M6 & M5 for getting to Cornwall. Especially befor the M5 Exeter bypass.

Re: Marlin suspension front and rear

Duncan, I found with brisk driving of Vans, saloons 13&1800, estates 18 &1700 it made them handle loads better when driven briskly.

Obviously as Steve Green points out, the Roadster is a very...

Re: Marlin suspension front and rear

I've had a few Marinas and I found a big meaty anti-roll bar made them handle very well, for a 'cooking' saloon car. Understeer was almost eliminated.

Re: Marlin suspension front and rear

If there is a supply problem with torsion bars, might it be time to think about wishbones and Coilovers? I know it has been mentioned before.

Re: Brake Servo failure, Marina based Roadster

From my own experience with a leaking hose, the engine is running lean. With a good hose and servo, the brakes were ferocious. Now the servo is not working and the manifold connection is blanked, the...

Re: New to Kit Cars, so bought two....

A servo maybe? Kit car wiring can be fun for the second owner, my Roadster had the loom stuffed behind the dash and I ended up cutting a couple of feet off every wire. One at a time, to make sure...

Re: New to Kit Cars, so bought two....

Well, that's filled up the workshop quite nicely. Nice collection of Snap-on boxes! The Red Marlin looks almost ready for the road, still time to get some miles in, while you plan the V8. V Jealous!

    Re: Fake Marlin in Auction?

Yes, the car does look great, but, the problem comes if it is not correctly registered, and it is obviously not a Vitess body and there is an accident. The insurance company could refuse to pay up,...
