    You can usually spot the long wheelbase cars by the extension inserted between the rear of the front wing and the rear wing. So they didn’t have to make a longer front wing. See example here;

    I noticed lots of pics of Cabrios show a flush ‘3 recess’ petrol filler cap and found one on eBay so bought it. The MK1 Sierra’s had these, later cars had a smaller cap behind a flap.

    Thanks Liz, yes they are, I'm going to go for a bolt with a larger head if I can find one. If not then I'll fill/re-make with fibreglass and drill again. Nice little job over the winter.

    I've recently been looking at hard top Berli's. The main reasons being I wanted something more practical for longer runs than a 'roadster' and I suffer quite badly from hay fever so a roofless car...
