    Re: Marina water pump

A good penetrating oil like PlusGas should help all the timethere is something to grip hold of. WD40 is not a penetrating oil.

Re: Torsion bar reaction lever adjustment

    It’s not a difficult job.
    Take your time, as always.
Try to take as much load off the torsion bars as possible, they don’t move much but there is a lot of torque in them.
    Possibly worth a total...

Useful during maintenance of brakes before the wheels are bolted on.

    BEWARE

Re: Marlin suspension front and rear

I don’t think there is a specific supply problem.
This whole subject still revolves around the bad press that the Marina got when it was first released.
The Marina suspension was designed with the...

Re: Marlin suspension front and rear

There is nothing in my experience that transfers directly from a Marina to a Minor though there are generic similarities.
Minor owners seek out Marina parts to improve performance, particularly...

    Re: Type 9 Gearbox Issue

Top tip. Many gearboxes don’t have drain plugs.
The Type 9 can be substantially drained if you drop the gearbox support so that it’s tail can be lowered whilst watching exhaust pipe and wiring for...

In the first instance they will not pass an IVA or MOT unless you have a mechanical system as well

I would have thought that drum brakes would be unsuitable, disk brakes, where a second set of...

  17. Re: LWB refurbishment - based on marina 1.7 O series

O series are indeed rare, stick with it, don’t be impatient.
Have you tried the Morris Marina owners club they might be able to help.
