    Kit Spares [think they are part of GBS] have a cable with a 90 degree formed outer sheath at one end to clear bonnet. Might be of use.

    At that price my Alfa powered one with 5 speed has to be worth at least double.

    I have measured mine and got 55 degrees from the horizontal. This then gives a spring rate [to nearest round figure] of 200 lbs

    That's why I recall it. Never seen or heard of another with that motor. Installation is very offset which I presume causes issues with the driveline?
