Re: Roadster Rebuild Diary from Cornwall

My floor is ½" marine ply bolted and silicone sealed in. The runners have a block under the front to tip the seat back a bit, about 1" high.

    Proof of club membership

Once more my Ins. Co. is asking for proof of membership. I know it's a pain for the mem. sec. to send out to everyone but I'm sure there must be others in the same boat.
Can I ask for proof of mine...

Re: Roadster Rebuild Diary from Cornwall

Well done Martin, looks really good. Must try and get over sometime, seems like ages.
If I can get all the concrete blocks out of my drive soon I might be able to get mine out of the garage.

Are you mounting on the back or front of the rad. Martin? It's much better on the back as it impedes the natural air flow less.

Usually if the fan's running when I stop, which isn't very...

Still feel cold, stuff old age. Nobody told me that rigor mortice sets in before you kick it, I have never felt so cold in my life. See there it goes again, repeating myself.

    Re: Stoneleigh

I'm looking at several ideas at the moment Dave, but the main problem is my inability to get bending my knees enough and take my weight.

    Re: Stoneleigh

Well, I left at 05.20 and, despite a valiant try, I got 40miles up the road before I had to give up due to being frozen solid.

    Re: Historic at last

I had a chat with the chap who does my MOT's and he was of the opinion that , especially if laid up for the winter, at least a check over on the ramp would be a good idea.

They went by my donor year, 1976, no problem. I've had it MOT'd once since then for my own benefit, clean pass, so may not bother next time.
